1.46 billion people around the world are Bibleless...

Join us on SAT 9th MARCH 2024 from 07:00 - 12:00 at Bunny Park, Benoni as we run 3.5 km or 7 km on behalf of the Bibleless (or join us at your chosen location). This is a Kingdom cause, to bring God's Word to those who do not have access in their own language and to see transformation.

Register as a fun runner or come and enjoy everything on offer at the family event (07:00-12:00). By taking part, you both raise awareness for Bible Translation and help to support the work through raising sponsorship money.

EVENT DETAILS

Entering:

There is a R 145 entry fee for fun-runners, which includes our new R4TB running shirt. Ages 6-10 pay R100, and ages 0-5 are free.

You can run at our central location of Bunny Park, or wherever you are. Registration to run elsewhere is R100, which covers the shirt cost.

If you are a parent, child care for under-10's will be available from 07:30.

Route:

You can do the 3.5 km or the 7 km route around the perimeter of Bunny Park. View the route map for more details.

Clothing:

Wear a Bible-themed outfit; there will be a prize for the best dressed child and adult, so we dare you to be creative! We encourage you to keep your branded R4TB t-shirt visible for the sake of photos and onlookers.

Timing:

The venue will be open from 06:30 for late registrations, with a welcome address at 07:00. The fun run will start at 07:30 for those who want to compete for the fastest time. The general start time is 08:00, and will be open until 10:00.

At 09:00 our guest of honour will give a message, followed by prize-giving at 09:30 and a presentation from the Siphuthi translation team at 10:00.

Support:

We have marshals and water points along the route. There will also be first aid available near the start line.

SPONSORSHIP

We invite each participant to raise sponsorship as they take part, which will go towards the work of Bible Translation. We suggest aiming for R500, but we’ve had people raising up to R 30,000 in the past. God could really use you to further His Kingdom.

Around the world, there are 1.46 billion people without a full Bible...

192 million of these people are without even one verse in their language... In Africa, 11.2 million people speaking 382 languages are WANTING and WAITING for translation work to begin.
