Choice Assorted

Join us for the exhibition opening of "Choice Assorted" - A presentation of new artworks by an exciting group of emerging artists chosen to participate in the BOBA (Business of Being an Artist) workshop.

This initiative, instigated by the META foundation, in association with Art Source South Africa and the Friedrich Naumann Foundation have gathered an exciting group of emerging artists all seeking to develop their art practice. The culmination of this 4-month course is the “Choice Assorted” exhibition, curated by Mohini Pillay and Dumisani Jere. “Choice Assorted" makes reference to the nostalgia of congregation, evoked by a uniquely South African symbol of gathering. The participating artists bring their own unique story to this exhibition, like the varied assortment of biscuits in the Choice Assorted box.
