Loufi, born Jean-Luc Handel in Port Elizabeth, is a rising star in the South African music scene. With a passion for breaking musical boundaries, he started his career making local music in his grandmother's laundry room with a group called CMB. Despite taking on more stable jobs to support his family, Loufi always knew music was his calling. After being retrenched in 2019, he seized the opportunity to pursue music full-time. Catching the attention of Universal Music Group, he has released singles and his debut album 'Gan Se Jou Mense' in 2021. Drawing inspiration from personal experiences, he sees music as his therapy and infuses his tracks with raw emotion. Loufi's versatile sound, influenced by hip-hop, showcases his determination to reach global audiences, aiming to tour the Netherlands and make his mark internationally.
