Indyebo kaNtu with Thandeka, Sky and Odwa

Please join us for an afternoon of beautiful isiXhosa music and literature with Thandeka Mfinyongo, Sky Dladla and Odwa Bongo at Greatmore Studios in Woodstock, Cape Town on 02 December 2023 (Saturday). The afternoon will be defined by the sounds of uhadi, umrhubhe, mbira, igubu (drum) and the entrancing voices of the three artists. Thiyane Duda will be reading extracts and poems from isiXhosa classics and new publications. The evening will finish with a chill session set to music rooted in indigenous sounds.

Food will be available for sale. On the menu will be the hearty Xhosa traditional dishes, i.e. samp and beans, steam bread, umleqwa, ulusu and veggies. Cash and cards (yoco) accepted.
