Centrestage’s phenomenal tribute to 6 great bands of the 1980's and 2020's, The Sensational Six, comes to the St Francis Links on 23 December 2023 at 8pm.
The 9-piece Centrestage band is fronted by PE musician Simon Shaw, who steps into Wayne Kallis’s shoes to lend his impressive voice to selected songs throughout the performance.
The show recreates the music of 80's favourites: Depeche Mode, Talking Heads and Bon Jovi in the first half, before challenging the stadium bands of the 2020's Maroon 5, Coldplay and Imagine Dragons!
The band also features drummer Gino Fabbri along with lead guitarist Stephen Hurter and vocalists Thuba Myeki, Tara-Jane Stern, Cailan Van Heerden and Tiffany East. Lineout’s Ronnie Van Jaarsveld is on bass with Khanya Matomela on keys.
