Please note: Due to illness of a key cast member, the Wednesday 25th show has been cancelled. The Thursday 26th performance will continue as planned.
"Visions in 2" shows two works: "Visions of Womanhood" performed by 3rd Year Dance Performance students and directed by Tanzley Jooste; and "Imagined Futures" performed by 4th Year Dance Performance students and directed by Louise Coetzer.
"Visions in 2" explore personal and mythical stories as starting points for creating body performance intended to help us bear witness to our stories real and imagined. In "Visions in 2" dancers interplay glimpses of their individual and collected selves in dialogue with layers of reality. The intention is to touch, hear, smell but above all else FEEL & SEE the expected and the unexpected as bodies converse in, with and through space.
With 2 performances only, this must see spectacle should not be missed.
