At Pantone Sundays, it’s all about celebrating a contemporary African aesthetic and the creative expression of fashion at play. 

Since 2018 Pantone Sundays has given the emerging fashion community a space to meet, network and express their evolving identity. 

By simply theming each edition with a colour we have offered a common thread with which to weave creative expression together in a celebration of the vibrance of our collective African identity.

The term "Sash Om'nayma" originates from South African townships and is often used colloquially to mock or reference individuals with darker skin tones. During his upbringing, Sakhile, the founder of the brand, was affectionately called "Sash" in jest due to his skin tone. However, he embraced this nickname, turning it into a positive aspect of his identity.
