As a longtime fan of the legendary Sam Raimi directed Evil Dead movies, filmmaker Steve Villeneuve ventured out to explore the fandom around these unique movies and its central character Ash (played with such gusto by Bruce Campbell).
Across conventions and film festivals, he tracks down cast and crew, and the most rabid fans and cosplayers to shed light on this immortal obsession - and oh yes, it includes the zombie slaying king, Mr. Campbell himself, baby! plus Ted Raimi, Chris Alexander, Betsy Baker, Martin Bruyère, Tom Sullivan, Theresa Tilly, Ellen Sandweiss, Dan Hicks, Sarah Berry, Richard Domeier, John Fallon and others.
