ABOUT

The inaugural edition of the Franschhoek Classic Car Festival will transform South Africa’s valley of dreams into a corner of classic car heaven on Saturday, 18, and Sunday, 19 November 2023.

A possible world-first display of forty classic cars representing forty different marques will be the central attraction on Saturday. Fittingly this will be staged at the iconic Huguenot Monument at the end of Franschhoek’s main road.

Ticket holders will enjoy a special Franschhoek Classic Car Festival rate when visiting the world-renowned Franschhoek Motor Museum in the valley. Visitors to the village will also be treated to a display of some of the Cape Winelands’ best classic and supercars in the town centre. Two car parades featuring classic and supercars will bring motoring excellence to the Franschhoek main road on Sunday. Finally, the Franschhoek Theatre is laying on extra shows for the weekend with a focus on classic cars. Coffee is available at the Huguenot Monument while the varied offerings of Franschhoek’s main road are a few steps away. Make a weekend of it and come enjoy motoring excellence in addition to all the other fine things our Valley of Dreams is known for.

Limited parking is available at the Huguenot Monument grounds at R100 per car. Entry to limited festival parking ticket holders only.
