Sit the Folk Down bring you another evening of awesome folk music in the intimate setting of someone's lounge.We are proud to be hosting a potent collaboration with ambient alt/folk group 'Faye & Wren' alongside trumpeter Kolawole Gbolahan hailing from Lagos,Nigeria.
Listeners can expect an original sound that captures a timeless place accompanied by a sincere style of writing.
This is an event that every avid music lover should get to in an intimate setting in the heart of the mother city!
The other act performing on the night is Devin Harmer. Devin, originally from Johannesburg, has relocated to the Mother City and has made a fair impact on the local folk scene.
Doors open at 7pm and the 1st act will be on at 8pm.
As is usually the case with our shows, please bring your drinks(glasses) and snacks!
