Masauko Chipembere and Neo Muyanga are Blk Sonshine, the acoustic duo who met in February 1997 at Monday Blues in Jahnito's in Yeoville. They are returning to the stage together after a decade of pursuing solo music careers. This show will be a Jozi homecoming, where they began captivating audiences with a unique blend of jazz, folk, soul, hip hop and traditional African sounds. A Blk Sonshine show is more of a ritual than a live performance. Be prepared to sing along, laugh, weep and come out the other side feeling more human.
