ABOUT

Sherlock and Watson Take to the Streets in: The Case of the Missing Van Gogh

"Solving Crimes, Dropping Lines"

Sherlock Holmes and his trusted companion, Dr. John Watson, are called in to investigate the high-profile theft of Vincente van Gogh’s masterpiece, the Melancholy Muse, from the Sterling Museum of the Arts.

Who are the suspects? Mrs. Turner, the nosy neighbor, has a rather unhealthy obsession with van Gogh’s work. Isabella Moreau, a talented artist, also seems to be hiding something. Then there’s Wiggins, leader of a street gang, who sends Sherlock on a wild goose chase, possibly to lead him away from the real culprit. Throw into the mix the criminal mastermind, Professor Moriarty, and you have a plethora of sketchy suspects!

Enola Holmes, Sherlock’s younger sister, is inadvertently immersed in the investigation via a message that implies the involvement of Julian Blackwood (the enigmatic leader of an organisation known as The Serpent’s Eye).

Enola embarks on a personal journey of self-discovery, as she unravels clues. In the process, she uncovers truths about her own identity and the legacy of the Holmes family. Realising that she has immense value to add to solving the case, Enola reunites with Sherlock and Watson and assists them in piecing together the final parts of the puzzle. With their combined brilliance, they devise a plan to apprehend the thief and retrieve the Melancholy Muse.

The final scene is a thrilling hip-hop rap battle as the characters display their wits and skills and fight to protect the painting and uncover the truth.

The story is told and brought to life through rap, pop, classical, and hip-hop music in a brand-new collaborative musical production - unlike anything you have ever experienced before. This show is guaranteed to challenge, inspire, and entertain!
