iPhupho L'ka Biko in partnership with Tekano Health Equity presents: ukubuya kukaNxele noMaqoma

uNxele noMaqoma are important ancestors in tracing the journey of the African people and their history with resisting displacement and dispossession. At the center of their resistance against colonialism it has been identity, land, and cattle (economic liberation) for the African people, these are struggles that have held true from many generations back to this day. On this night the band will be joined by poets from Capetown, who will depict in words and metaphors this history.
