Grey Mare's Tail Waterfall Hike - Karkloof

We will be hiking to the Grey Mares Tail Waterfall. A true hidden Gem, not known to most people.

Its an impressive 110m high waterfall and we venture through a magical forest to reach this beautiful Gem.

The Total distance of the Hike is 6Km and will take roughly 3 Hours to complete.

There is some rock scrambling towards the Waterfall, which is the only challenging part besides that its a fairly easy walk. So anyone with moderate fitness can complete easily.

We will meet up at Shawswood Farm in Karkloof, directly off the main road. Meet Up time is at 8.30am, we will start walking at 9am.

The cost of the Hike is R250pp.

What to Bring: bring comfortable shoes with Grip and stuff to eat, and at least 1.5l of water as well and a backpack to carry your belongings. Also bring a towel as there are some small river crossings and your feet might get wet. - Your welcome to bring a blanket and extra goodies as its a very nice spot to have a picnic after the hike.

Please note: if the weather is bad, we will reschedule to another date, the earliest one possible. No refunds if your a no show. Tickets are limited, so make sure to grab yours and avoid disappointment.
