GUEST LECTURE: Alfredo Brillembourg accompanied by Frederic Levrat

Ten years ago, we began planning the very first Empower home in Khayelitsha. Today, we are getting ready to launch the next thousand homes. Please join us as we celebrate the progress made towards a safe and dignified housing reality for all South Africans. Join renowned international architects, Alfredo Brillembourg -- the project's founder, and Frederic Levrat, to gain valuable insights into all aspects of the project, and lessons learned after ten years of finding better solutions for housing in this country.

We will delve into the background of the Empower Khayelitsha project, discussing its inception, goals, and the unique challenges it aimed to address, highlighting innovations in design, sustainability, community engagement and funding.
