Their story began as a random encounter during the Jip Rockspaaider competition, a fateful meeting that marked the beginning of a musical phenomenon. Remarkably, they not only participated but also emerged as the winners that year.

With Lucinda Strydom (now Lucinda Neethling) as the lead vocalist and handling the acoustic/electric guitar, Jean-Marie Korff on electric guitar and backing vocals, Jan-Adriaan Korff on drums and backing vocals, and Tim van der Westhuizen on bass guitar, Die Melktert Kommissie has crafted a distinctive sound that transcends genres.
