PINK-I.T is a movement of women in IT. Aimed at creating a network, to foster a culture and a way of thinking for females in software development.
92% of software developers are males. We are about challenging the stats and leveraging the number of males vs females in the software development field. We want to grow platforms and lead the biggest network with the 8% of women who are software developers around the world, AS WE ADOPT A GENERATION OF #DieHardDevelopers.
Our purpose is to :
- Connect females to industry opportunities.
- Expose initiatives within the field
- Educate more females about the software development industry
- Create the need of entrepreuneurship to better the South African economy
