Join us for an afternoon of enchanting Classical chamber music by all-women composers including piano solos by Clara Schumann and Lily Boulanger, solo works and Trio en Suite Opus 59 by French composer Melanie Bonis.
Experience an hour of these lesser-known beautiful works for piano, flute, and violin as well as hear about the unique challenges these women faced in composing, performing, and publishing their own music during the times in which
they lived.
Jill MacArthur will perform piano solos, joined by Lily van der Merwe on flute, and Zoe Lightley on violin for the Trio in 3 movements: Serenade, Pastorale, and Scherzo.
