The Kirby Quartet returns to the Cape Chamber Music Collective with a varied programme of string quartets. Against the backdrop of Rust-en-Vrede’s beautiful gallery and estate, Shostakovich’s seminal String Quartet No. 3 contrasts interlocking selections from Dvorak’s Cypresses and the Danish String Quartet’s unique arrangements of Nordic folk tunes in the second half to create a unique and varied evening of music not to be missed!
