We will be performing our shows Hoerikwaggo and Captain Kwanda's Fanplastic Adventures

Hoerikwaggo is a fun; interactive, educational play focusing on the importance of the Table Mountain range as an example of biodiversity. The play concentrates on the natural environment with particular focus on indigenous flora, the diversity of animal life and broaches: fire prevention; baboon management; protection of species; fynbos and biodiversity awareness; the importance of alien clearing and cultural heritage. Hoerikwaggo is a trilingual production that draws on local archetypes and characters and uses comedy; song; dance and audience interaction to provide engaging education.

Captain Kwanda's Fanplastic Adventures is a new show developed in partnership with Captain Fanplastics. It tells the story of Captain Kwanda and his turtle friend, Fin. They sail around the Cape coast and beyond in search of sunken treasures from old shipwrecks. Suddenly a strange storm brews when the Ocean Spirit, Lwandle, pays them a visit and gives Kwanda the power to speak to all ocean creatures. They are sent on a quest to help sea animals affected by plastic pollution. Captain Kwanda is rewarded with a different treasure and earns a new name – Captain Fanplastic.
