The Masque and Cape Town Theatre Company are revitalising the classic tradition of Agatha Christie at the theatre with an adaptation of the crime author's iconic 1926 novel - The Murder of Roger Ackroyd. This time round, however, things are not quite what they seem to be. Follow the play's amateur society and their attempt to stage this masterpiece. Attempt being the operative word, for things quickly go awry, to hilarious consequences.

You're guaranteed to be clutching at your sides as Poirot, Dr Sheppard and the residents of Fernly Park investigate the murder of the extremely wealthy, Roger Ackroyd. While the characters try to answer this complex mystery, the actors are hoping to just get to the end of the play alive!

* You are welcome to take your food and drink into the theatre, but please be sure to return your glass to the bar afterwards.

* Strict admittance policy - no entry after the show start time. Latecomers will be admitted entry at intermission.

* Children are not permitted to sit on laps.
