What to expect?

Event Details:

• Event Name: Hooked Speeddating
• Venue: Ground floor, Shap Braai, 22 Kruger Street, in the heart of Maboneng, next to the popular Maboneng photos sign.
• Participants: 10 guys and 10 girls who have purchased tickets for R150 each.
• Complimentary Offer: Each participant will receive 1 complimentary glass of wine upon arrival.

Event Flow:

1. Participants arrive in Maboneng @7pm.
2. Each participant receives 1 complimentary glass of wine, a score card and pen at the door.
3. Meet & Greet for 30 minutes.
4. Speed dating starts at 7:30pm, and participants rotate every 7 minutes.
5. After 5 rotations, there is a 20-minute break for various activities like glass refill, ordering pizza and using the rest room.
6. During the break, participants can use this time to connect with individuals they're interested in, review their cue cards, and socialize.
7. Participants reconvene after the break for the remaining speed dating rotations.

Event Activities

1. Score Cards: Score card will be given out, where you will be able to record the persons name, rate them by emoji and note what you remember from the date with them.
2. Ice Breakers: At the back of the score card their will be a bunch of ice breakers that can help get the convo started.
3. Spontaneous Dating: On every table there will be a container that you can blindly pull question cards from if you're feeling spontaneous.
