For the Second Sermon of The Swartland Gospel we're adventuring to Saldanha, at the very edge of the appellation, bringing the American West Coast to the Weskus. International guest winemaker Tegan Passalacqua will be presenting eight of his Sandlands wines from Lodi - "the Swartland of the Napa Valley''.

These wines have serious history and heritage; amongst them old vine Chenin Blancs from 100 year+ old vines and wines from the oldest Cinsault vineyard in the world!

Also on the panel will be Andrea Mullineux (a Californian making award winning wines in South Africa); Graham Weerts (a South African making world class wines in California) and Adi Badenhorst, preaching the gospel.

The tasting will be followed by sherry and very fresh, very local oysters and a dinner prepared by Charl Badenhorst and his Kalmoesfontein Katering team in collaboration with Goodnight Hospitality (from Houston, Texas). Expect seafood from Saldanha & Velddrif, local lamb and grass fed free range beef prime rib - all prepared in the oldest cooking method known to man: on open fires!
