We all love soft fluffy bao buns and they’re surprisingly easy to make once you get the hang of it. Learn how to make and steam your very own baos, and stuff them with a protein, sauces and julienned vegetables for lunch. Please note: bao buns are made with dairy milk so we cannot make it vegan or dairy-free.

In this workshop you will learn how to:

  • Make and knead bao dough
  • Shape, proof and steam bao buns
  • Brush up on your knife skills
  • Prepare an Asian salad and dressing

Included in the ticket:

  • Welcome drink
  • 4-hour workshop
  • Light lunch

What to bring to class:

  • Apron
  • Two dish cloths
  • Chef’s knife or any big sharp knife
  • Storage container for leftover baos
  • We recommend short nails and comfy shoes but it's optional


The workshop will be held at HTA School of Culinary Art in Randburg. There is secure parking on site (We are not affiliated with HTA cooking school, we are just using their venue)
