A creative, informal social gathering where participants come together to enjoy in a combination of Painting, Wine Tasting, paired Canapés and social interaction in a relaxed setting.
The one and only passionate Ilse Schutte from Bemind will introduce you to her true Garagiste's wines. Brent Brönn of the newly opened Gezelligheid Bistro will serve special selected canapés that pair beautifully with the wines that you will saviour. Follow along as local talented Artist Madelein will take you through a step-by-step guided painting.
Whether you're a seasoned painter or a first-time brush wielder, the focus is on enjoyment and self-expression rather than perfection. So gather your creativity, a willingness to try something new, a thirst for good company, and immerse yourself in the BLENDING OF COLOURS AND FLAVOURS.
THINGS TO REMEMBER:
- Only 12 tickets per session available.
- Friday's session will take place @ Bemind wines 45 Voortrekker St.
- Saturday's session will take place on the porch of the lovely 150 year homestead of the artist @ 25 Mill St.
- This event is not suitable for Children.
- Your ticket will include a canvas, paints and brushes. Tasting of 4 selected wines paired with canapés.
- If you book your ticket with a friend or group, make one booking for the whole group in order for you to keep your group together when it comes to seating arrangements. (But we will try to accommodate everyone on the day)
- Event starts at 15:30 strictly, and will continue regardless of late comers. Arrive 15 minutes early.
- If you are more than 25min late, you will forfeit your ticket.
- Event ends at 18:00 (approximately 30 minutes will be allowed to finish up)
- No refunds.
- You may take your canvas home with you.
- Additional wine will be available for sale.
- Photos will be taken during the event. If you do not wish to have your face shown in online posts, please let us know at the event.
- Please note that this is not a workshop/formal art lesson. A basic step by step demo, inspiration images, and advice when you need it will be provided.

Madelein Brönn has exhibited her work in group exhibitions both locally and internationally and has received numerous awards for her exceptional talent. Her art is a reflection of her deep connection to nature and the intricate beauty of life.
