Chef Alex Windebank, Ceramicist Corinne de Haas & Gabrielskloof Wine Estate Collaborate for The Hangklip Kleinmond Ceramics and Porcelain Festival

Renowned chef Alex Windebank from Farro, in collaboration with acclaimed ceramicist Corinne de Haas, is set to create a one-of-a-kind dining experience for the Hangklip Kleinmond Ceramics and Porcelain Festival. The duo has worked creatively to design a menu that perfectly complements the handmade ceramics for an unforgettable evening of culinary artistry and craftsmanship.

The afternoon will consist of a five-course lunch , with each course paired with exquisite wines from the Gabrielskloof Wine Estate, in a tasting led by Cellar Master Peter-Allen Finlayson. 

To celebrate this collaboration one lucky diner will win 40 piece set of the serveware created especially for this event. This unique collection is a timeless reminder of the profound connection between food, art, and nature.

Each ticket for the event will enter into the draw to win this incredible prize valued at over R16 000. 

There will be further prizes drawn, including wine from the Gabrielskloof Wine Estate and a luxury meal for 4 at Farro. 

By harmonizing their respective crafts, Chef Alex Windebank and Corinne de Haas aim to transport guests into a world where food and visual & tactile aesthetics merge. The meticulously curated menu will be artfully plated on the bespoke ceramics specifically designed for the occasion.

The exclusive lunch will take place at Farro on Gabrielskloof Wine Estate on 7 October. This event promises to be a celebration of creativity, craftsmanship, and the incredible bounty of the region.
