Into Stillness

ABOUT
Spend a morning gently re-finding our centre & calm.
For all of us, rediscovering and honouring the creative self, is essential in our journey towards wholeness.
We use process art methods to draw on the transformative power of artmaking for health and well-being.
Our approach to artmaking is non-judgemental and process-orientated, engaging the “don’t think mind” to find intuitive solutions. Participants are invited to work spontaneously without any planned outcomes or expectations, to trust the creative process and to honour all that is made with acceptance.
Experimentation with a wide variety of art materials, found objects and natural materials is encouraged and while the entry point is not technical, many art skills and techniques are learnt along the way. The process can be light and playful, or meditative, or deeply moving and powerful. In today’s stressful world, a non-judgemental creative space is a sanctuary for free expression, self-reflection and restoration.
- NO ART EXPERIENCE IS NEEDED.
- SHOW UP JUST AS YOU NEED TO.
- BE HELD, SO YOU CAN GET INTO A FLOW STATE.
- ARRIVE, PAUSE AND SLIP INTO STILLNESS.

ABOUT THE FACILITATOR
Hello. I am Rachel Smith. I create safe spaces to explore, be curious, grow and innovate in, with a new awareness-based language and way of being.
As a Transformational Guide for 15 years, I curate and facilitate deeply shifting experiences for individuals and groups - from workshops and talks, to deep listening circles, to large philanthropic events. I give special focus to accelerating radical social transformation projects. Alongside facilitating human/system change, I use my 17 years experience in brand identity design to keep expanding my creative thinking and grow my networks.
My toolbox includes a rigorous set of methods that guide and support people and groups through complex issues. Now more than ever, we need a new leadership capacity to navigate swift change with deeper empathy, greater courage and matured relational intelligence to make more valuable decisions to shift our broken system.
