Hansel and Gretel

The fairy tale Hansel and Gretel tells the story of two siblings from a very poor family. Their parents are unable to feed them and send them into the forest to fend for themselves. In the forest they meet a witch who lures them into her Gingerbread house. The witch captures Hansel and Gretel with the intension to fatten them up and eat them.

With their wit and a bit of luck, they trick the witch and throw her into the oven. Her house is filled with many riches. Packing whatever they can manage to carry, Hansel and Gretel return home to their parents where the live happily ever after.
