Woofstock VIII: Winter Warmer is going down on the 29th & 30th of July, gathering a sexy lineup of CPT’s favourite musos and tattoo artists, for a weekend-long festival fundraiser in support of the Cape of Good Hope SPCA. Throw in a Saturday thrift market, and there’s no doubt that The Armchair Theatre in Observatory is where the real jol is going down this weekend.

It’s been a particularly frosty Winter this year, leaving an overwhelming number of animals vulnerable, without food and shelter - our furry friends really need our help. Woofstock VIII invites you to whip out your finest Winter-braving threads as we party for a great cause and make a paw-sitive impact.

Join us on Saturday and Sunday, July 29th-30th, where you can expect an insane curation of your favourite musicians who have all donated their time and talents, to take the stage from 10:00 ‘til late - 100% of all proceeds from this exhilarating event will go directly towards providing essential aid to our four-legged companions in need.

In addition to the all-day-long music - see lineup below - Saturday’s entertainment includes a Thrift Market (smart Summer shoppers shop in Winter). The fantastic artists of Left Field Tattoos will also be doing on-site tattoos and piercings and donating proceeds, so you can get that new ink you’ve been itching to get with a clean conscience.

Tickets are available here or on www.quicket.co.za and start at R80, with special discounts for students available, too. And, if you want the full weekend experience, tickets are R400, which includes full access to all of the events.

Partying is both hungry and thirsty work, but don’t worry - there will be food available, as well as a number of bars (for those 18+).
