Wendy Venter will be presenting a on camera casting workshop. She has been in the business of representing talent and ensuring that they’re equipped with the right arsenal to excel for thirteen years now. Her vision for Wendy’s Talent Agency is to create an organization that sources and develops professional artists in South Africa and employ a highly motivated and skilled team which shares in her vision of ensuring that their actors are household names. Wendy has marketing strategy in place which will see her work hand in hand with various clients offering her artistes as many opportunities, to display their talents, as possible globally. An ambitious dream indeed but with her determination and a highly motivated team the vision is rapidly becoming a reality. That is not all; Wendy has served in various boards within the industry and she is a member in good standing of Personal Manager’s Association (PMA) as well as the National Association of Model Agencies (NAMA). Wendy is also a proud supporter of the South African Guild of Actors (SAGA) and she recently was a panelist on the SAGA Knowledge Share Session and she covered the topic of How To Market Your Art which was well received. Want to know how to correctly prepare for & leave an everlasting impression at an audition? Then join us! Students will be provided with past audition pieces from real TV projects prior to the workshop, to prepare & present. Wendy will work one-on-one with each student to finesse a winning performance. from realism, script analysis & preparation, being in front of the casting director, to being on set. Develop your confidence in front of the camera, learn to deliver truthful choices & refine your approach to screen acting. During the session students work on a short scene. The scene is observed & filmed by the instructor & feedback & support offered. Explore & embrace your skills in a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere dedicated to working with you & expanding your screen acting range.
