Kristi Boonzaaier se simfoniese komposisiestyl laat die menslike stem sweef soos ’n geelbekwou oor ’n kleurryke blomme­ landskap – hier deur die orkes geskep. Luister na van Boonzaaier se oorspronklike werke – Die Windroos-ouverture, Weskuswind en Geslote hek – en toonsettings van Afrikaanse gedigte. Daar’s ook verskeie verwerkings en bestaande musiek, waaronder Song of the Universal deur die Noorweegse komponis Ola Gjeilo.

Kristi Boonzaaier’s symphonic composition style sets the human voice afloat like a yellow-billed kite over a colourful landscape of flowers. Come and listen to some of Boonzaaier’s original works – Die Windroos Overture, Weskuswind and Geslote hek – and Afrikaans poetry set to music. There are also arrangements of existing music, including Song of the Universal by Norwegian composer Ola Gjeilo.
