ABOUT

Homemade dumplings can be difficult to make – the dough requires a skilled hand and ample rest time, and don't even get us started on folding! But with patience and guidance, making your dumplings can be fun and relaxing and they taste even better than store-bought.


In this workshop you will learn how to:


  • Make and knead dumpling dough
  • Prepare dumpling fillings
  • Fold dumplings in various shapes
  • Make chili oil and dipping sauces
  • Cook dumplings using different methods
  • Make a smashed cucumber side dish


Included in the ticket:


  • 3-hour workshop
  • Light lunch
  • Cocktail


What to bring to class:


  • Apron
  • Two dish cloths
  • Storage container for leftover dumplings
  • We recommend short nails and comfy shoes but it's optional


Venue:

The workshop will be held in the Indaba Room within HTA School of Culinary Art in Randburg. There is secure parking on site (We are not affiliated with HTA cooking school, we are just using their venue)
