SAACA Mrs South Africa Woman's Day Celebration

Join Mrs South Africa 2023 Palesa Matjekane at the SAACA Womans day Celebration at the Amadiba Hall, Wild Coast Sun KZN on the 29 July at 10h00. Tickets are R 350-00pp. Other speakers at this event include Kirsty Hooper, Tabby Mdond, Bianca Candido. This day is in aid of Souther Africa Cancer Asscciation (SAACA)This is the first time that Mrs SA 2023 Palesa Matjekane will visit the Wild Coast. SAACA is in partnership with Mrs South Africa.

1. SAACA was established as a need for animals with cancer. As the 4th in the world, SAACA will fill the gap for the animals with cancer in Southern Africa. Cancer has always been seen as a human illness, but little does everybody know that animals are diagnosed and die of cancer as humans do. In one study, 45% of the dogs that reached 10 years of age or older died of cancer.
2.  SAACA is the first organisation in Africa that will focus on cancer and animals. SAACA’s main objective is to work with Onderstepoort as a research institute. Secondly to do sterilization in rural areas and to educate the public on the topic. SAACA is so excited to have taken hands with the faculty of Veterinary Science, University of  Pretoria, who will be conducting research on animals with cancer.
