Welcome to your overnight adventure! Moms & Dads, this is the perfect way to start the school holidays!

Pack your picnic supper, sleeping bags and sense of adventure and spend the night with us at Blooming Good Nature School, situated at the Green Point Urban Park in Cape Town. Activities at our maker-stations will keep the kids occupied while parents set up their sleeping spot.

Enjoy your supper (or perhaps a mud cake or two from our #PlayCafeMudKitchen!) and then get ready for a treemendous drumming session with the Rascals Drum Club. Teacher Jill will tell us more about the history of drumming, various drums and of course, show us how we can make super-duper music!

We then go on a night tour of the park and finish our night making smores on the fire. Wake up to delicious coffee and a campfire breakfast before breaking down camp.

This event is a continued partnership between Nurture in Nature, Blooming Good Nature School and the City of Cape Town

What to bring:

• tent, sleeping bags, pillows, blankets (there is an enclosed indoor area to camp/place sleeping bags if the weather is cold or it rains)
• picnic supper, or your meat etc to braai at our braai area
• wear comfy clothing and non-slip shoes
• toiletries, any medicines etc you require
• headlamp / torch for the night tour
• pillow for the pillow fight ;-)
• your sense of adventure!

Free parking is available at our school parking lot. The Park and school have dedicated security measures, with the Park also having CCTV cameras and 24-hr security.

All food provided for snacks and breakfast are Halaal and Kosher; prepared in a kitchen where there may be nuts/allergens present
