ABOUT
Sun Xa Experiment is a South African group from Soweto. The 5 piece is made up of Buyisiwe Njoko(lead vocals), Tebogo Mkhize (Bass), Lerato Seitei (Lead guitar), Benedict Watte(percussion) & Karolo More (Dance & Movement),. They describe themselves as a band that "caters a spiritual ancestral sound that tells of stories of who we are as the global community without race, color or nation.
The crew says their music is part of a spiritual journey into self-discovery which connects their listeners to their ancestors, reminding them of who they are and where they are from as human beings.
They have performed in major venues, festivals and events locally and internationally. They exude musical authenticity and chemistry between them that charges into those who consume their work beyond any physical explanation.
Sun Xa will be performing at Breezeblock Cafe as part of the monthly Sunday Lunch Live Music Series. It is a day filled with music and a hearty Sunday Lunch with a modern interpretation.
They will also be curating a Vinyl Musical Experience in between the performance. You can expect to have a transcendental beautiful Sunday Afternoon in Breezeblock's beautiful courtyard.
The show starts at 13:00 and ends at 18:00. Food and Drink will be on sale.
