ABOUT
ZwiLe is an award winning, vibey and eclectic Afro Jazz musician, saxophonist, songwriter and performer who aims to trigger the soulistic abilities of anyone who listens to his melodies – to enhance their emotions, energy and mental performance in whatever they do and experience in everyday life.
Through song he spreads the beauty of music, love, passion, peace and unity in the world.
“I’m all about soul. My music is simply the transfer of energies, thoughts and feelings, either from me to my audience or visa versa. When people invest in my music, they buy my spirit, a piece of my heart, my soul, a moment of my life, hundreds of failures and experiments.”
In 2017 Zwile became a solo artist and started writing his own music while he was in college doing his Degree in Teaching. During this time he formed a band and started touring around Eswatini (Swaziland) playing in venues and public events, and at parties and weddings.
Zwile was greatly influenced by Jazz musicians who came to play at “The Jazz Gallery” in Swaziland, some of whom featured him in their performances. The likes of McCoy Mrubatha, Lebo Mabe, Afro Tenors, Lefa Mosea, Faure Mennen, Yonela Mnana, Mandla Mlangeni, Lwanda Gogwana, Luyanda Madope, and more recently ZwiLe played with Prince Lengoase.
ZwiLe has performed at the MTN Bushfire Festival since 2017 on the biggest stage in Eswatini, with the likes of Itallo Dlamini, Nhlanhla Mahlangu, Jeff Nomvethe, Paseka, Judah, Vuyokazi, Lisina, Simphiwe La Sax and many others.
In 2019 ZwiLe won the MTN SWAMA Award for Best Jazz.
That year he also played with Don Laka at the Eswatini Jazz Festival and recorded a song on Don Laka’s latest release entitled Uno Mundo.
In 2021 he headlined the Standard bank Luju Festival.
ZwiLe released his first EP in 2022 entitled “After The Rain”. He has also just released his latest Single “Faradays” in April of 2023.
Doors open at 6pm show starts at 8pm
