ABOUT

You are invited to come experience a double dose of Live Homemade Jams in the living room. This will take place at a Cosy/intimate lounge venue in a beautiful home at 25 Dartmouth Rd, Muizenberg, 7950

You will be mesmerized by two of Muizenberg's fabulous live bands. AshweetA and Soulitude with Friends.

AshweetA are a trio based in Cape Town consisting of Jimi Curve on Bass and vocals, Wayde Hardy on percussion and Dan Boshoff on guitars. The original music dances between Goema, Funk, Dub-Jazz and global groove with a strong local flavour. The band is releasing their debut album in June 2023.

Soulitude with Friends

Monwabisi "Soulitude" Dasi is a cultural activist. To create and communicate is his mission and purpose on earth.

Soulitude is not alone, he brings with him Benji of Concept Records on (Piano), Ben Jamieson on (Bass), Keegan Steenkamp (trumpet) James Cloete on (percussion, harmonica, ixilongo) and Dan Boshoff (Lead Guitar). Coming together from across the Peninsula, they bring you a rich combination of Jazz, funk, Storytelling, Rhythm, Soul and Poetry. Together they are called Soulitude with Friends.
