This hybrid Southern African event presented by Twyg (South Africa) and Imiloa Collective (Mauritius) is focused on textiles, slow fashion, craft and design. The event is a combination of discussions, workshops and talks offering in-depth and lived experiences of natural fibre farming, textile processing, designing and crafting.
The Africa Textile Talks 2023 programme will contribute to the new slow fashion and textiles narrative - one which is inclusive, supportive, authentic, circular, environmentally conscious and appropriate to Southern Africa.
