Business Forum at Somerset College

The Somerset College Business Forum fundraiser has in previous years brought some varied and topical speakers to the campus whilst raising funds for specific projects. It has always been a well-supported event amongst both local businesses and our community. After a hiatus of a number of years, largely due to the Covid pandemic, the event is back!

REALITY with a TOUCH of HOPE - A Positive Reflection on South Africa Going Forward, is the theme for the evening.

We are delighted to have secured the following speakers to provide a compelling perspective:

MANDY WIENER (https://mandywiener.com/) - Renowned award-winning investigative journalist, host of "The Midday Report" on Talk Radio 702 and author of the true-crime bestsellers "Killing Kebble: An Underworld Exposed" and "Behind the Door: The Oscar Pistorius and Reeva Steenkamp Story".

As this is a fundraiser for the College, proceeds from the evening will go to developing sustainable energy sources for the school, as well as supporting the Acorn Bursary Trust (https://www.somersetcollege.org/acorn-bursary-trust).

This year's Business Forum is promising to be an informative and entertaining event as well as an opportunity to network and socialise.
