The popular PINOTAGE & BILTONG FESTIVAL is back in 2023 and we couldn't be more excited! We have always believed that showcasing 2 of SA's best loved treats true to our heritage - PINOTAGE and BILTONG - speaks to the hearts and palates of many a South African food and wine lover.

Venue:

Sat 29 & Sun 30 July at Allée Bleue (Intersection R45 and R310, Groot Drakenstein, between Stellenbosch and Franschhoek)

Styles of Wine:

There will be plenty of Pinotage in a range of fizz, white, red, rosé, dry and sweet styles, each paired with a different biltong flavour.

Food:

Apart from the many delicious biltong flavours to be paired with all the Pinotage styles (included in your ticket prize), food will be available for sale at the restaurant at Allee Bleue offering all kinds of fast foods and the restaurant’s a la carte menu, as well as a few food vendors.

Music:

Guy Feldman will take care of live entertainment with groovy covers from bands such as Dire Straits, Pink Floyd, The Police and much, much more.

An all-weather festival:

The Festival will take place in the Le Grand Hall at Allee Bleue, thus ticket holders will be able to sample these two great South African products under a solid roof!    

Ticket Types:

• Regular Tickets - R350 pp - includes wine glass, all wine and biltong pairings, entrance to the festival, live entertainment, wine and biltong pairing card.
• VIP Tickets - R550 pp - includes everything in the Regular Tickets, PLUS Bubbly as a welcome drink and a light cheese platter on arrival, service staff, late afternoon coffee and a sweet treat. (only 50 VIP tickets available per day)
• Dedicated Driver Tickets - R250 pp - includes entrance to the festival, live entertainment, a biltong card and all biltong tastings (No wines, no wine glass - these tickets are for Dedicated Drivers who do NOT want to taste wine.) (only 50 Dedicated Driver tickets available per day)

Dress Code:

There will be prizes for the best dressed festival goers, so plan your purple and white outfits so long. Think feather boas, top hats, tutus, and anything FUN & FUNKY!
