ABOUT

About us

Exotically Divine Pulse is a non-profit organisation promoting living a healthy lifestyle through indigenous vegetarian food, community gardening and nature art. We are a community of people who are tracing our existence and connecting with ourselves more deeply, finding natural methods of managing life. Our aim is to promote wellness through establishing community gardens and expand access to knowledge and practices around indigenous vegetarian food.

We are based in the heart of the Johannesburg CBD inside a heritage site, called the Drill Hall - a space of inner city revitalisation that has undergone significant social and physical transformation.

As Africans living a modern lifestyle, we yearn for a greater connection with nature and eating food that is good for the mind, body and spirit. We have created a community around living a healthy lifestyle, and support one another on natural ways of managing urban life. One of these ways, is treating food as your medicine and using food as a technology to help us advance to live a better quality of life.

Join as on Saturday the 27th of May at the Drill Hall to celebrate Africa Day and honour our heritage by celebrating what unites us: music and food. The day will include a drumming circle and our signature lunch of ital food and plant based cake from Zimoti Bakery. Bring your intentions and any musical instruments that you would like to offer into the drumming circle. All ages welcome and kids under 12 are free.

This event is part of our fundraising to sustain our initiatives as the work of Exotically Divine Pulse is self-funded. Please contact us on [email protected] to find out more if you have the capacity to donate towards our cause of indigenous vegetarian food and creative vertical farming in the city.
