St Henry's Annual Team Marist ‘Power of M’ Champagnat Day 2023 ‘Virtual’ Run/Walk/Cycle/Swim/Hike

Join us for the Third Annual Team Marist "Power of M" Event.

A community-building 'virtual' run/walk/cycle/swim/hike uniting the six South African Marist Schools and raising funds around Champagnat Day 2023

(Tuesday 6 June – Tuesday 20 June)

Date: Tuesday 6 June (Champagnat Day) - Tuesday 20 June 2023

Participation: St Henry's Marist College participants are invited to complete their activity of choice in your home neighbourhood, locally or internationally.

Participation Distance: We recommend completing a distance of 4km, symbolizing the daily walk of St Marcellin Champagnat, the Founder of the Marist Brothers teaching order, between The Hermitage and La Valla-en-Gier, where his first school was situated. Feel free to complete multiple 4km distances.

Entry Fee and Donation: There is a participation fee of R50 to enter the event. In addition, we invite you to make a donation to accompany your entry fee. The funds raised will contribute to our Champagnat Day Fund, with one-fifth of the proceeds going towards Marist Mercy Care in Addo, our chosen charity in the Eastern Cape.
