Gavin Quin owner of G Q Electrical and supplier of Earth Muti, 21 years in the industry, with sales background and experience on instruments and testing.
The purpose of this workshop is to ensure that electricians have a better understanding of earthing and bonding within any property. Special care is taken with surge + lightning protection when it comes to bonding the earthing conductors to the electrical earthing systems especially PV-Solar (SSEG). This interactive workshop will help you to better yourself when it comes to lightning. We look at different types of lightning and surge protection, how lightning works and how to prevent devastating damage to life and property, and how to create an earthing system below 10 Ohms with a practical exercise.
We encourage all attendees to participate with discussions and exercises.
The workshop will be hosted by Braam Van Emmenis & Co Presenter Gavin Quin.
Workshop will be from 8:00 - 16:00. Lunch included.
