The Durban Street Food Festival is one of the most anticipated events in Durban, South Africa. It is an annual event that takes place at The Pavilion Shopping Mall from the 22nd to the 25th of September 2023.
This festival is a celebration of Durban's diverse food culture, bringing together food enthusiasts from all over the city. Laugh with your mouth full as you’re entertained, and get yourself some style with the city’s chicest young designers.
Family fun for a full belly, with a spoonful of giggles and a pinch of wiggles for good measure, let Durban Street Food Festival serve up the entrée you’ve been waiting for!
FOOD
The festival is a four-day event that features an impressive lineup of food vendors, live music performances, and fun activities for the whole family. Attendees will be spoilt for choice with the wide array of food options available. From traditional South African dishes like bunny chow and braai meat to international cuisines like sushi and tacos, not forgetting our delectable desserts, there is something for everyone. While you tease your taste buds with African, Indian, Asian and other mouthwatering flavours, enjoy the great sounds of the finest local musical talent, with live musicians by day and DJs to heat things up when the sun goes down.
MUSIC
Apart from the food, the festival also features live music performances from some of Durban's and SA's top artists. Every hour attendees can enjoy performances from different established musicians, DJ's as well as local up-and-coming artists.
On Saturday evening, We come together for a live screening of the Rugby World Cup as South Africa vs Ireland.

FAMILY
For families attending the festival, there will be a dedicated kids' zone where children can participate in fun activities like face painting, Paint ball, balloon twisting, and other games.
