Spirituals Evening with Nonhlanhla Yende

Masixole Makwetu Music presents a Spirituals evening with Nonhlanhla Yende on 23 June 2023 at the Rosebank Methodist Church at 19h00. This performance follows Nonhlanhla’s resounding success in her debut of Verdi’s Requiem at Joburg Theatre.

This intimate evening of storytelling through powerful music is Nonhlanhla's Debut solo concert and will feature African and American spiritual music, with well-known songs such as Camagu Nkosi yam, Give me Jesus and many more. Nonhlanhla will be accompanied by the renowned South African composer and pianist Sibusiso Njeza.
