Saturday Night Live with Androgenius at the KAYA Café

Saturday Night Live is a series of beautiful, intimate live performances from some of the most exciting talent Cape Town and South Africa has to offer, hosted at the KAYA Café. Friday Night Live is an event for performers to take in their own direction, creating an environment for audiences to engage deeply with the music, the meaning, and the people behind it all.

In this special Saturday edition of Friday Night Live, we are joined by legendary Cape Town band, Androgenius. Androgenius is a flavourful soul-hop band, on a mission to move and groove its fans. Their music - all original - speaks on love and life, on the fine line between hedonism and addictions, but it all comes from a very real, sometimes vulnerable, most times sassy, place. The band consists of a blend of professional jazz, rock, and funk musicians and performers, all of whom have performed in various bands for more than a decade.
