Has someone built you a WordPress site, but you have no idea how to use it? You’re not alone, and the Code Saloon workshops are specifically aimed at teaching you how to manage it for yourself. Whether you’re running your own business, working as a content manager, or learning the basics of web development, this course will put you in the saddle and expand whatever skill set you already have.

These workshops are aimed at users rather than developers. No coding experienced is necessary and no WordPress experience is required either. However, if you are a developer, this will give you a solid understanding of the powerful tool that is WordPress.

Deb’s interactive teaching style makes for a lively learning experience and keeps you on your toes. So pull on your boots, saddle up, and come on down to the Code Saloon.

(please note these workshops are for WordPress.org)

In this workshop you will learn all about WordPress, themes (how to choose a good theme, installation and customization), plugins(what is a plugin, how to choose a plugin, installation and optimization), how to manage your plugins & themes, edit menus, use widgets and security.
