We are super excited about returning to Colorbox Studios where we hosted our first 3 Subversion events back in 2017 and 2018. They have done a lot of work at the venue and it's looking fabulous!

So, what is Subversion all about?

Subversion is all about great event production values... From the quality of the DJs, to the lighting, sound rig, play areas, guest comfort and entertainment. We pride ourselves on putting on Cape Town's top fetish/BDSM club event. We have a strict dress code which creates a sexy atmosphere and we welcome all types of people. The emphasis is on a sexy dancefloor, fetish artists, displays and play. Our last 5 Subversion events have been sold out so we must be doing something right!

• Impact (coach whipping) display by capetowndomdad
• Shibari displays by artists
• A Subs, Sluts and Sexy Favours Auction
• Outdoor play area with equipment from Unit_13
• Curtained off area for play that's just off the dance floor
• Fully licensed bar with ample seating and cocktail tables and chairs
• Cloakroom - R10 per item (cash only)
• Ample toilets and dressing area
• Kink-friendly staff and security
• Safe parking
• Sexy BDSM and fetish gear on sale from ZAR Goth Emporium (Yoco/Zapper)
• The venue has a generator so no load shedding issues

Order of event:

6.30 pm - Doors open (Please do not come earlier. You won't get in)

8.30 pm - Shibari and impact (coach whipping) display from SirKnotsALot and capetowndomdad

8.50 pm - Burlesque acts - Scar-lit Hearts and Jezzy Belle

9.00 pm - Subs, Sluts& Sexy Favours Auction

9.30 pm - 10.30 pm - Dark Fader

10.30 pm to 1 am - Reno

1 am - closes
