Wekeweke Falls Sunrise Hike and 4x4 Ride

a brand new out of the ordinary event!!!

Come watch the sunrise, hike and 4x4 with us!

We will meet and start our hike from the parking lot of Shongweni Market. From there we jump into an awesome game viewing 4x4, drive to Clifton Lookout tower to watch the sun rising over the ocean (bring your own coffee), spend a little time there, jump back in the car and jump off at the starting point of our hike which is near the top of this magnificent waterfall. After a few pics and videos, we cross the stream and hike on sugarcane roads until we join the dirt road leading to Delville Station. We walk along some railway lines, through a service tunnel (yes, a real tunnel) to the bottom of the falls where we will have a nice break for snacks&cold drinks (bring your own) until our 4x4 comes to collect us.! as easy as that! ;-)

This is an easy hike (suitable for beginners and kids as well).

What to bring:

snacks, water or cold drinks, a cap, plus a backpack to carry all that. also a phone or camera to capture all the beauty!

Walking shoes/takkies with good grip. coffee to drink while wathcing the sunrise!

limited to 8 hikers.

If event is cancelled due to bad weather, new date will be given.

Please also note that we need 8 people to go ahead with this event. if quota not met, event will be cancelled and refund will be processed

Grading Of Hikes:

Grade 1 Easy. Minimal fitness required

Grade 2 Not too strenuous. Moderate fitness

Grade 3 Moderate. Physical fitness advisable

Grade 4 Strenuous. Physical fitness essential

Grade 5 Very strenuous - high level of physical fitness essential
