What we can do: Some solutions to South Africa’s problems ahead of the 2024 election

Mbali Ntuli is a recovering politician.

Over a 15-year career, she ran for the DA leadership, was a Member of the KZN Legislature, and an eThekwini Councillor. In that role, she also won the US State Department’s Mandela-Washington and IVLP Fellowships and was named One World Young World’s Politician of the Year in 2019.

Now, in addition to being a community activist, Mbali is a successful entrepreneur, combining her passion for combatting injustice with empowering communities. She is the founder and CEO of Ground Work Collective, a community development initiative focusing on food security, access to water, civic education, and social entrepreneurship.
